Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote. Our quote forms ask for your name, phone number and email address, plus either your ZIP code or your property address. You can optionally add your property address and your past 12 months of electricity use. We only ever get what you type in.
If you email us your bill. If you use the “Email us your electric bill” button, your message and whatever you attach come straight to our inbox.
Automatically. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and device type, which pages were requested, and when). We also measure general site usage — see Cookies and analytics below.
We don’t ask for sensitive information through this website. Please don’t send us Social Security numbers, bank details or card numbers through the form.
Why we collect it
To answer your request, prepare and send your quote, and contact you about it by phone or email — and to keep the site working and see which pages are actually useful. That’s it.
We don’t sell your information
We don’t sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, and we don’t send marketing spam. We contact you about the quote you asked for. Tell us to stop at any time — reply to any email or just call us.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the site and get back to you:
- Formspree — receives our quote form submissions and delivers them to our email inbox.
- Google Analytics — measures how the site is used (see below).
- Photon, by Komoot — powers the address suggestions in our quote form. When you type in the address field, what you type is sent to their service to find matching addresses.
- Google Fonts — the site’s fonts load from Google’s servers, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
- DigitalOcean — hosts the website and keeps the server logs described above.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — roughly how many visitors we get, which pages they read, and whether the quote form gets completed. It sets cookies in your browser to do that.
We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t build advertising profiles about you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on if you’d rather not be counted.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep normal business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we’re required to keep it.
Your choices
Email or call us and we’ll tell you what we have on file, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No website can promise perfect security, but we treat your details the way we’d want ours treated.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
